Select: Sketchbook 2025

Sketchbooks are a must-have for any artist. At any given time, I’ve got five to seven of them going — all different styles, sizes, and purposes. I try to keep them organized by category, but honestly, they tend to take on a life of their own. I always bring one when I travel because you never know when inspiration will strike. Sometimes I just like to sit somewhere — anywhere — and paint.

Painting daily is something I really believe in; it’s one of the best ways to grow as an artist. You learn a lot just by showing up to the page every day.
